420 Nelson was founded in 2010 by Betsy Taggart & provides strategic planning and marketing consulting services to large & small companies and agencies. 420 Nelson has a special focus on strong communication and simplifying & streamlining business plans against well-defined, fact-based goals and objectives in order to maximize efficiency and improve results.

Betsy graduated with an MBA from McGill University (& ESADE Barcelona) in 2000, she was a senior product director with Johnson & Johnson until founding 420 Nelson. Her work experience includes a wide portfolio of brands ranging from toothbrushes to skincare. Most recently she led the go-to-market strategy and launch of KORRES NATURAL PRODUCTS in Canada. She has a proven track record of developing strong internal and external partnerships, including excellent agency relationships; growing businesses double digit year over year & launching, strengthening or turning around troubled brands using creativity, clear-minded strategy, and executional excellence. During her years at J&J she was responsible for portfolios with sales in excess of $75 million with marketing and advertising budgets ranging from $25,000 to $20 million.

Betsy is fluent in English, and functional in both French and Spanish..
